In 2020, Mac & Jack’s Brewing Company suffered the tragic loss of one of our long-time sales reps, Erik Martinsen, to his battle with brain cancer. Erik's legacy in the local beverage industry was defined not only by his passion for the Brewery but also by his remarkable ability to forge deep and lasting friendships wherever he went. He was more than just an employee; he was a cherished friend and welcomed smile to many in the community. Erik's battle with brain cancer left a giant void on those who knew him, and the creation of "Marty Time" is a testament to his enduring impact on all who crossed his path.
 
This beer is not just a beverage; it's a symbol of remembrance and support. A portion of the proceeds from every 6-pack sold is donated to cancer research and care. Through this, his memory lives on in the pursuit of a cure for the very illness that took him too soon. With each sip of this beer, you not only savor a delightful brew but also contribute to a cause that holds profound significance for all who had the privilege of knowing Erik.
 
"Marty Time" reminds us that even in the face of tragedy, we can come together to honor the memory of those we've loved and lost, and that their influence on our lives can last in the most meaningful and touching ways. We invite everyone in the Mac & Jack community to join us in supporting Fred Hutch Cancer Center.
