In November 2021, David was diagnosed with Stage 3B Rectal Cancer. We consider him so fortunate to live in the Seattle area with some of the top cancer research facilities in the world! David was able to get all of his treatments through Fred Hutch at Evergreen Hospital - just down the road from where he works. 

For 9 months David pushed through radiation treatments, chemo, and 2 surgeries. With every step the doctors said this was totally curable which helped keep David's positive attitude. And today David gets to pronounce that he's cancer free!!

But we know that not everyone is as lucky as David. So today we want to pay it forward. Others funded cancer research before David got cancer. Now it's our time to support cancer research. 

Please donate to this fundraising page! For every dollar raised by our August 2023 celebration weekend (up to our $1,000 goal) we will match. So even if you can't come celebrate with us in person, you can celebrate David coming out the other end and beating cancer!!
