This Sunday, March 15th would have been Dr. Don Thomas’s 100th birthday. To mark this occasion, we put together a short video on his contributions to science and his life. The late Dr. Thomas and his wife and research partner, Dottie Thomas, are known for the development of bone marrow transplantation to cure leukemia and other blood cancers. In 1990, he was awarded a Nobel Prize for his work, earning him the title of “the father of bone marrow transplantation.”
Celebrate with a gift to Fred Hutch in support of those who work tirelessly to continue Dr. Thomas' lifesaving work!
