Help Fred Hutch help Wil Dutt fight cancer.

Dear Friend,

I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out with a heartfelt request that holds immense personal significance for me. This year, I am on a 100-mile ride in Obliteride - to support the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center, an institution committed to advancing cancer research and finding cures.

I ride with a purpose, honoring my uncle Wil Dutt. His battle with an insidious cancer, stemming from exposure to Agent Orange during his service in Vietnam, has inspired me to take action. As a Junior Lieutenant on the USS Duncan in the Gulf of Tonkin, his ship took on water from the Saigon River, upstream of which the Agent Orange defoliant was extensively used. A decade ago, his VA doctors confirmed that his symptoms pointed to this exposure as the cause of his cancer. He wouldn't change anything though, his roles as an active commander, engineer, chaplain, and more - skills that eventually made him essential to Caterpillar Corporation's growth.

As my uncle's journey highlights the dire need for better treatments and cures, Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center stands on the forefront of this mission. Their dedication to researching and combating cancer in all its forms, including those caused by harmful agents like Agent Orange, drives me to seek your support.

With your contribution, we can come together to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. My goal is to raise $5000 to further Fred Hutch's vital work. No amount is too small, as each donation brings us closer to breakthroughs that can transform lives.

I kindly ask for your support in this endeavor. Your generosity will not only honor my uncle's resilience but also contribute to a brighter future for countless others impacted by cancer. Please consider helping me reach my goal - every dollar counts.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering my request. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center or Obliteride, please don't hesitate to reach out.

With gratitude,

Scott
