About me I'm a biotech journalist and author. I summited Mt. Everest in 2018, and raised $340,000 for the Climb to Fight Cancer along the way. The next year, I led a group of biotech executives and investors on a Kilimanjaro climb that raised $1.6 million. In 2022, I'm assembling another team. This time, we will hike through the Himalayas of Nepal to Everest Base Camp (17,600 feet). Our goal is to raise $1 million through the Climb to Fight Cancer at Fred Hutch. Why am I doing this? We are living in a moment of tremendous possibility for cancer research and development. Our support today will pay dividends for generations. This is our chance.
