About me

I'm a biotech journalist, author, and entrepreneur.

I summited Mt. Everest in 2018, and raised $340,000 for the Climb to Fight Cancer along the way. Since then, I've recruited and led biotech industry teams that have raised $3 million for cancer research at Fred Hutch.

In 2023, I'm assembling another team. We will hike together to the summit of Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa at 19,340 ft / 5,895 meters.

Our goal is to raise $1 million for Fred Hutch. 

Why am I doing this?

We are living in a moment of tremendous possibility for cancer research and development. Our support today will pay dividends for generations. This is our chance.
